Vic,

I can't help with the hotspots, but sure would love some firsthand knowledge of the local rocoto growing methods. (if you are so inclined) Anything you can get would be helpful. Sun or shade, humidity, yearly pruning, prefered temps, soil pH etc. Anything.

And I wonder if you will find bottles of this in the local stores: http://www.2hotsauce.com/ Darned good stuff! In fact, contacting the manufacturer just might help you to find local hotspots.

Subject: [CH] Hot Spots in Peru?

I'm leaving on Thusday for 10 days in Arequipa, Peru.
And will probably go out to Colca Canyon for a couple of days.

Does anyone know of any "hot spots" that I should check out.

I need a lot of work on my spanish, but I'm trying to get down some of the
more important phrases.
Like "Take me to your Rocoto's" and "Yes, I would love to eat more Rocoto's"

Vic
