In answer to your question Matt...

I grow the Medusa's every year at the OF simply becuase they continue to
be listed as 'exccedingly rare' in the seed catalogs.  They charge a
premium for that seed (as much as $0.10 per SEED) and this is my attempt
to make it more readily available to Joe Average.  Gotta earn that
'sainthood' somehow :-P

I also grow them simply 'cause I think they're cool looking :-)  ALL of
the chiles in the OF are simply there for the heck of it.  If someone
needed them commercially, they'd be grown elsewhere.  There are no trade
secrets in this business ;-)

Marbles are much the same story.  Every year I have illusions
(delusions) of selling tons of plants at the spring festivals & do most
of the plants for that effort.  Every year I also find I'm way too busy
to work spring festivals and end up planting the things in the fields so
they don't go to total waste.  

Other than that, anything that anyone wants me to plant for the event, I
try to do.
