As a note about Bowers...
A forum I hang out on that has nothing to do with chiles had a woman post
that she was going to a "hot pepper" festival in september. Bowers? I
asked. She ws amazed that I'd heard of it, and said that she had met a
Chile Head one year who had been the reigning pepper eating champion for a
few years. Doug? I asked? Big guy? She's a nice lady, I'll tell her to
look for the CH's this year.
