I just noticed that the Smiths in Albuquerque on 4th Street, NW between
Montano and Osuna has added a whole section on New Mexico foods and
chile. Many different kinds of fresh and dried chiles, including
different concoctions and brands of red chile powder, different types of
chipotle powders and mixes, 100's of hot sauces, etc. Its a pilot
project for all their stores in New Mexico. The name of the place on
Eubank, S.E. south of I-40 is the "Chile Addict". The Smiths mentioned
above has alot of their stuff also. On 4th Street there is also a brand
new Mexican supermarket and on Lousiana, SE a brand new Oriental (India,
China, Thai, Japan, Indonesia, etc) supermarket-"Ta-Lin" All have a
large variety of fresh and dried chiles of all varieties. Ta Lin also
has a large variety of chutnies, curries, etc.from different oriental
countries, including "frozen dinners" for lunch and the microwave?????
