The first batch I made of these Hot Smoky Nuts I used
Chipotle powder instead of the hot sauce and they
weren't quite hot enough so the next batch I also add
Jim's Smoked Red Savina - lots better.
Below is the original recipe but I also added English
walnuts and some macadamias hence name change. I used
at least 3 cups of nuts and still the 1/4 cup of
butter was plenty imo. Good snackin' ~~ Boo ~~
HOT SMOKY PECANS
¼ C butter, melted
2 T soy sauce
½ t hot sauce
1 T Worcestershire sauce
2 C pecan halves
1. Stir together all ingredients; spread pecans in a
single layer in a
15X10 jellyroll pan.
2. Bake at 300 degrees, stirring often, 25 minutes or
until toasted.
