I didn't want to say anything, as I'm real new to this group. But, anyway, The Bradley uses a "biscuit" type wood. They really aren't expensive when you look at the overall picture. A box of biscuits with 48 in it costs around $18.00 Each biscuit last around 25 minutes, and the automatically load. The majority of the stuff I smoke is done in about 4 hours, so about 3 bucks investment per smoking session. What I love about it is that it's totally unmanned, and is the only true cold smoker I know of. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kris Boyle" <kris.boyle@gmail.com> To: "Matt Evans" <tmattevans@gmail.com>; <chile-heads@globalgarden.com>; <cthomas@precisecastings.com> Sent: Thursday, January 13, 2005 11:35 AM Subject: Re: [CH] Question from a lurker... >> The only thing I don't like about the unit (other than the price and the >> expense >> of getting one shipped to Canada) > > It's always good to prove yourself an idiot in public every once in a > while just > to make sure your head doesn't get too big ;-( After I wrote the > above, I decided > to do a bit of research and found out the Bradley smoker is a Canadian > product!!! > > Doh!!! > > Also a store just around the corner from my work is a distributor for it. > > Double-Doh!!! > > Kris > >
