I have had great success with starting peppers from seed and zero
success with tomatoes! They do
germinate but are never strong enough to, um, make it on their
own, sob!
Thanks Alex, henceforth I will not use the peat pellets. I am
debating moving my little guys to earth pots
before they get too attached to their surroundings.

One other thing about that netting, it can last for years in a
compost pile.
I may try starting seeds again this year, I haven't tried that in
quite a
while. I have more room ... *G* and no ferret to terrorize the
pots...
