Habaneros (El Caballo) went off as the heavy favorite in the Wildcat 
Handicap at Turf Paradise. Here's the chart call:

HABANEROS unhurried early, saved ground, moved up some on the final 
turn, was steadied when blocked into the lane, advanced between 
rivals in upper stretch and finished well.

My comments:

He sure was unhurried, he was at least 20 lengths behind with a half 
mile to go and ran into a wall of horses entering the stretch. When 
he finally got through, it was too late to catch the winner. He lost 
by about 3 lengths and paid $2.60 to place.
