After another week of tests, =Mark is finally scheduled for surgery today
around noon.  His situation has improved as they have gotten his blood sugar
and blood pressure under control.  It appears now that they will do two or
three bypasses and possibly repair a heart valve.  He is feeling well, and I
have kept him well supplied with condiments to make the food edible.  He has
appreciated the e-mails, cards, and phone calls.  It helps relieve the
boredom.

I'm hoping to post some good news later tonight.  He probably won't be able
to receive any phone calls for a few days until he gets back in a regular
room and begins the recovery process.

Once again, I'd like to thank everyone for their concern.
