Jim Campbell, feel free to correct me. When we made our voyage of
discovery to Jamaica, I bought a couple dozen hot sauces. We visited
PickaPeppa's and Walker's Wood who manufactured and bottled their own
varieties. Everything else came from a couple of factories in
Kingston.

> Ok, I've had a question brewing in my mind for quite some time.
>
> It started when Wild Jim commented about how the "Jennifer's High Tailin' Hot Sauce" wasn't a new sauce, just a NEW LABEL.
>
> And today at Joe & Linda's blog (http://www.thehotzoneonline.com/blog) they had an interesting article/interview with the Canadian "Peppermaster" store. They used a term called "rollovers", describing the same thing.

> In my own collection of hot sauces that I've eaten, I keep quite a nerd's version of notes... and even though I was getting hot sauce gift sets from all sorts of different locations, I eventually started to notice a redundancy in the Mfg addresses on the back of some of them. The Spice Exchange was the worst. Even more redundant was the limp watered vinegar they dare call hot sauce in all their "Different" sauces.
>
> And I used to think that HotSauceZone.com simply had a symbiotic relationship with Melinda's & The Spice Exchange's web sites, and the other web sites linked there. With very little effort, I just found out that the Figuera Brothers own all of those brands!!

> "Kamuk is a private label hot sauce producer/exporter from Costa Rica. With over 20 years of experience and focusing on private label only, we have become leaders in this category.

> We are able to manufacture a whole line of private label hot sauces and special products for distributors, supermarket chains, brand owners, and other manufacturers that want to expand their line, or are looking for a more competitive source.
