Every summer about this time, I gather my first significant harvest of
jalapenos. And every summer about this time, I tell my wife she can take a
FEW peppers in to work to give to a chile-head coworker. And every summer
about this time a few days later, I discover my wife has taken all of my
first significant harvest of jalapenos to give to her chile-head coworker.
You'd think I'd learn and keep a secret stash for me, but now I have to wait
a bit before I get my own chiles. Can I claim her coworker as a dependent on
my W-2s?
