I've learned to expect the worse- that way I'm either never dissapointed or, if it works, pleasantly surprised :-) I used to suffer from periodic bouts of 'voted off the island', not that anyone noticed ;-) It took the divine intercession of Mr Bowers to keep me subscribed for a couple of years- not forgotten, if poorly rewarded ;-) Invitations to the 2005 Open Fields just went out. If you still need them, email me off list. Didn't get the cool plastic signs out this year identifying the chiles, but still hope to at least have a map of the fields. DeLaReina & John T will personally identify their two rows :-) Headed to http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/printstory.mpl/thisweek/zone16/news/3340602 as of Wednesday :-) I'll be easy to spot ;-) Tell me your're on the list & get a free bottle of sauce. Three days of sirloin steak at the Texas Land & Cattle Company!!! :-))))) Nothing seems to say 'knuckledragger' like dead, burnt animal parts :-) Starting to get pumped up about the fields. Lookin' like a decent harvest too, though the fields aren't that great. Doing a straight Fatili sauce with CaJohn :-) WOW! What a burn!! -Jim C Mild to Wild(R) Lieutenant, Engine 111 Local 416, Indianapolis
