I used to puree fatalis with fresh ginger and pineapple.  Mmm...sweet heat.
I used it to glaze pork or chicken and even ate it with vanilla frozen
yogurt/ice cream.  This won a best-of-show award at the late lamented Pig &
Pepper Festival up here in the Northeast.
