I can take a stab at answering that one Ed. White Flower/Shepherds have pretty much discontinued most of their chile pepper line, chilepeno being part of it. I used to do a bit of business with them on the wholesale side but they (corporate office) told me they were ending that side of things. They gave me permission to contact the wholesale supplier of the seed, who was somewhere in Cananda. I left many, MANY messages with him asking to speak but was ignored. I tried calling numerous times. I'd had a little bit of the seed left so I put the commercial greenhouse to work 'brown bagging' a bunch for me. You are correct- they produced MONSTER japs & that meant money to me as it saved quite a bit on the picking labor. If you need some, all you need do is come to the open fields :-) That is the 'mutant jalapeno' that I talk about planting since I can't use the name 'chilepeno'. -Jim C Mild to Wild(R)
