Hello CHers...
It seems that when I need advice, information, expertise about lots of
things I think about my Chilehead friends first. I don't always ask because
most of it is off-topic and I know how annoying that can be in big doses.
But..this time I'm jumping in to seek direction...literally...about buying a
GPS for my car. I am truly directionally challanged. To keep this more
on-topic, lets say I was wanting to find my way to OF next September and had
no idea which way to leave Iowa! Seriously, I'm looking at the Tom Tom 300,
which is portable so we could move it from vehicle to vehicle easily. It's
big brother, the 700, is too techie for me, I'm afraid. What I want to know
is...what kinds of GPSes to my fellow chilelovers have in their vehicles?
Does it get you to Jim's place with no problems. Is it simple enough for a
moderate to operate? Inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks, guys/gals! I want to be able to hit Santa Fe for Christmas and see
that farolito display.
