Here is an interesting little tidbit that I'd never heard before, and 
I presume that it is correct.  Marilyn Vos Savant wouldn't 
deliberately lie about anything that she publishes.  R.

Q:  Which has more calories: chocolate-chip cookie dough or the baked 
cookie?  The dietitians I've asked have guessed that the calories are 
the same.  I hope so but fear there's a price to pay for that

A:  Another cookie dough fan!  You'll be happy to hear that cooking 
food -- from vegetables to meat - INCREASES its colorie content.  The 
heat trasforms much otherwise-indigestible fiber into carbohydrate,
