My wife and I have lived in and around Boston for most of our lives, and I
can honestly say that your daughter shouldn't have any trouble finding all
of the fresh ingredients she wants for the Posole. There are dozens of
specialty shops around where she can buy just about anything she will need.

I know that for "one stop" shopping, she can go to the Stop and Shop on
River Street in Watertown, MA (which is about 10 minutes outside of Boston.
They seem to cater to a wide variety of cultural tastes (much more so than
the usual supermarket) and we've always been able to pick up hominy and
just about any veggie or condiment that we need.

If she wants to look for more interesting produce, she can drive up River
street to Russo's (which is a green grocer). They have tremendous produce
and actually supply many of the supermarkets and shops in the Boston area.

Boston isn't just for "Chowda" anymore!!
