I think they are distinctly different too. Three times last year my Rogue
friends sent me local Mexican market Manzanos that they found in Texas and
California. Excellent! Very nice heat and taste. The closest comparisons
to Manzano that I know of are from Guatemala. Pod shapes can vary even on
the same plant at the same time and are helpful for identification, but
other things need to be concidered too.
