Maybe I ought to try explaining a bit better here :-) It's not that I don't have customers who are list members (sincere thanks to all three of you ;-P) it's just that the majority of us on the list are well able to take care of our own needs. We're 'chile veterans' as it were. As such, in my observations, that means several things: 1) we grow our own chiles or know where to find them 2) make stuff that we like ourselves as opposed to buying evil corporate stuff 3) tend to wander around a bit with our dollars, constantly trying new stuff as opposed to sticking with one particular brand. So many sauces, so little time :-) It's not a question of feeling the need to support the evil corporate types on the list though it is appreciated. We evil ones recognize that list folks are already enlightened and our efforts are better spent reaching the masses who need enlightening :-) I suspect most folks on the list, upon trying a sauce, have the same initial reaction (as I do): I know how to improve that! We will then undertake to do our own improved version and/or knock it off ourselves. Hardly the target audience for an evil corporate type :-) -Jim C Mild to Wild(R) As a personal side note, I'd almost rather *not* have list members as customers 'cause I view them more as friends and don't like taking money from them. As "=someone" pointed out, I give too much stuff away to list folks for me to remain in business very long if all my customers came from here :-)
