[CH] Two Good Mexican Products

Dear Chile-Heads: In the past few months I have
become acquainted with two exellent Mexican
products. One is "Valentina Salsa Picante" which
is available in both a "regular milder" and an
"extra hot" version. It is sold in the local
Walmart here, as well as in the Mexican grocery
stores. I particularly like it on raw vegetables
such as tomato, broccoli and cauliflower.
The other is "Mi Costeñita Semillas Tostadas Con
Sal" (Roasted Pumpkin Seeds With Salt). They are
similar to "pepitas" but a bit crunchier. They
also have a version called "Semillas Enchiladas"
(Roasted Pumpkin Seeds With Chili), but it is not
really all that hot; and I prefer the plain
salted ones to the "enchilada" variety. These,
you might have to find in only Mexican
supermarkets. My local Mexican store has a whole
wall of dried seeds and nuts from the "Mi
Costeñita" company, which also makes other
products like pickled jalapeños.
