Hi All --

List seems pretty quiet, but I am sure everyone is busy planting, etc.
I lost 103 out of 110 seedlings to (I think) damping off this year.
In the past, I have never lost a single seedling -- I'm not sure what
went wrong.

At any rate, I finished getting the garden in yesterday with bedding
plants from the local farmer's market. I have noticed that my garden
smells very fishy over the past couple of days. I'm not worried,
because I assume it is due to some decomposition and some friendly
little microbes doing their work. However, this is my first season in
the new house and I never had a smell in my old garden. Any ideas?
The smell is pretty strong, too -- I don't even need to be standing in
the garden to smell it.

Hope everyone else's seedlings are faring better than mine did....

Matt
