Obviously, tomatillos are not in keeping with the mellow Canadian character. I grew them one year at the apartment, and they didn't take over. The lemon mint, though, is another matter. *wanders off topic* I'm the chair of the Friends of the Scioto River, and one of our activities is "invasives removal" which is taking non-native plants out of the local parks. The biggest ones are honeysuckle and garlic mustard. Recently I brought food to a meeting of the Columbus Recreational Council, including Invasives Dip which I made by using garlic mustard leaves like spinach, and some chives, all gathered from Northcrest Park outside my back door.
