Just gpt off the phone to Rain in Kentucky, was she surprised? Somewhat!
But bless her heart, the first thing she asked was how Marie was doing,
she remembered the problems of last year. She has been offline, due to
computer problems, got a virus which wiped her hard drives, 2 of them,
and her nephew now has the computer for major surgery!! She asked me to
pass on the message to all the folks on Chile-Heads, that she is well,
has a bunch of different chiles growing on her balcony, and is still a
dedicated vegetarian. And her two cats are still going strong, the
oldest one is 11! I don't think she is too interested in recipes for
feline,however. Perhaps because she IS still a vegetarian :-D ! So, that
is all the news that I have to date. As I had mentioned previously,
Marty and I go away back, we have kept in touch over all the years, if
not by email, then snailmail or telephone. It was great touching base
with her again. Cheers, Doug
