You bet, Steve.  When I joined, in the middle 90s somewhere, there were 
about 1500 members all over the world.

Maybe Mike B. can answer Linda's question about how many are on the roster 
now.

Let's try to keep the energy going...especially this time of year when those 
of us in the upper hemisphere are just coming into harvest time.  Should be 
lots of chile talk, recipes, lamenting etc.  All that said, however, I must 
confess....my 'chile garden' this year consists of 4 jal plants!  We 
moderates don't go through a lot of chiles and I had an abundance left 
dried, frozen, pickled etc. from last year so didn't plant much.

I hope I don't get drummed out of the ranks ;^)
