Those who said majordomo doesn't work are correct. Those accounts were loaded with spam long ago. Here are the instructions I got 2 1/2 years ago from Mike Bowers and they worked. I had tried numerous times for a few years befire that, but couldn't get on. When you subscribe you should get an authorization code or codes back. Here's what he told me:

Hi, folks
I'm on the road with my laptop and a somewhat shakey internet
connection. The recent explosion of messages has me overloaded.
While I really like to keep abreast of what's hot and what's not, enough
is too much.
How do I unsubscribe? I sent a message to majordomo@globalgarden.com
with the word "unsubscribe" in the body, but it bounced.
I remember the old days when the instructions were in the footer of each
message, but no more.
