What's funny about this story you tell Jim is that I've seen SEVERAL utube vids like this.
I just shake my head. It is amazing what people get other people to do sometimes! One guy puts Blairs in his eye, another downs half a bottle, another writhes in pain over a 2 our (edited) time span.... Even *I* am not that stupid. One thing I notice is that MOST if not all of these are vids of college aged kids. I was once that stupid, but not so stupid as to chomp on a whole hab! Although, thinking about it, in college we could have created a bunch of havoc down at Indiana U if we had some nice hot chiles while drinking.... that's another story.
Well, I take that back. There are times when I, uh, err... bite off more than I can chew? ;) Sometimes I pay for it dearly the entire night. What's odd is that most things hotter than a jalapeno I can't handle...by itself. With food, no problem (red saving finishing sauce is the BEST tasting AND hottest thing I've eaten by the way...can't say that about any other product with that heat level)...ahem...unsolicited endorsement. ;)
What's even more odd...something about pimentos. Bells, I can eat all day. A few slices of fresh raw pimento pepper and it's as if I drank a bottle of cod liver oil. WOW! Love the flavor but those d@mn things don't like me at ALL!
