I regret not having had a camera then, but it was before the time of Youtube
anyway...
Some years ago, I grew Fatalii peppers for the first time. Chomped around on
them quite a bit (moderate corps, not for me, at least once I'm in
training - which unfortunately always takes a while), and our dog was so
fond of begging... Bit off a bit of the pepper, dropped it to the dog. Dog
bit into it, railed back as if a wasp had stung her (and that gal - a Gordon
setter she was: cute but dumb - loved catching wasps), scratched over her
mouth with the paws exactly like some dumb kid might. Looked mighty pitiful,
too...
About two minutes later, when I had finally been able to stop laughing and
went back to nibbling on the Fatalii, she was back to begging me again (what
was that about old dogs and new tricks again?)

Gerald, still in Austria, soon to be in Latvia
