Wow!  That's got to be a record long post for ol' LB :-)  Usually it's
only a word or two ;-)

The hot sauce contest at the Open Fields (which could not have been done
without the help of Jeff S, brother Rob & son Bill!) raised $1,404 for
the charity.  Thanks to all, including the poor worn out judges :-)

I judged the "mild" category (all 24 of them!) some of which were *not*
mild!  Got crazy and tried to tough it out for the "sweet/hot" but the
first two were straight habanero and I decided to remain as patron saint
of the moderate crops :-)

24 hours at the FD tomorrow, then 24 hours on the stairs, and then
another 24 at the FD.  I'll be out of touch for a bit ;-)
