You may find this hard to believe but I sptopped making red chili several years ago. I worked out a pretty decent chile verde recipe and my wife likes it so much, that it is all we ever make anymore. I stopped going into local competitions because they really don't know what they are doing. I submitted my recipe to our company cookbook a year ago and since then three or four different people have made it and love it. That says more than any contest honors to me. BoomerangDave
