Habaneros raced on the turf at the Fairgrounds in New Orleans Saturday and
finished 2nd. I didn't know about the race until after it was over.
Still on a chile related theme, Peppers Pride will be running in the 11th
race at Sunland Park, New Mexico today. If she wins, it will be her 15th in
a row, one short of the record held by Mr. Frisky, Citation, Cigar and
Hallowed Dreams. I thought about going but decided to save the gas and watch
the race on TV.
