Hi Byron,

Beth http://www.peppermania.com/ donated Texas pecan wood & I snapped some
up.
Sugar Maple is most excellent. Very mild and sweet imparted flavor. 4" x 2"
chunks is what I like, but a bundle of say 18" or 24" x 4" split logs would
be very acceptable. I use lump charcoal and add small chunks of flavoring
wood as needed.

Just my opinion.

Subject: [CH] Wood for Smokers?

Last year at OF someone donated some mesquite for a "smoker"

I find I need to cut some branches off a sugar maple. Might
be a good donation for the "raffle"

Need a rough size of the wood and bundles, that would be useful
