At the 2005 Spicefest I was teasing Jim, he was in his gear but there was also a fire-safety mascot with a big dog head, and a snappy clean new firefighter's coat with bright reflective material.
I said, how come his coat is nice and new and yours is old and crappy?
Jim instantly shot back "Because he doesn't work fires." He also notes that the new reefletive material melts easily.
