This week I stopped at one of my favorite garden stores (Cameron, Plantland) to pick out my plants for 2008. I like their selection but they close for good on June 30. I got a little bit of everything:

Baby Red Bell
Baby Yellow Bell
Cayenne Large Red
Garden Salsa
Giant Marconi
Habanero (2x)
Hungarian Hot (or Hung Hot for short)
Jalapeno
Kung Pao
Lady Bell
Romanian Sweet
Super Chili (2x)
Thai
Valencia Orange Bell
Yellow Bell

Still no Pimento but I'm not done shopping. I might also be able to find a yellow cayene, and maybe some sort of hot cherry.

I anticipate some nice salads this year. I highly recommend the baby bells, they are excellent for salads, kabobs, and stuffing - more manageable than a full-sized bell. The Thai and one of the super chilis are already planted in the (otherwise empty) herb garden. I tilled the main plot several days ago but it only got rained in last night - been waiting for that, otherwise it would have been like planting in granola.

Habanero and jalapeno fail the Word 97 spell check FTW
