Which shows how little you actually know about sugar, grunt cakes! 
Only 30% of the world's sugar comes from beets. And those beets are 
NOT RED - nothing like the beetroot your mammy served you when you 
were a child Which, BTW are also golden - with the same flavour). So, 
how do you figure that beet sugar would be a natural pink? Another of 
your fevered pronouncements, or what?

You could do us all a favour and go learn what you're talking about 
before you expose your ignorance to all and sundry. BTW - if you care 
beyond making mis-statements here is a good treatise on sugar beets 
and sugar production from them ... took me about two seconds on Google 
to get there. No charge to you - just please learn wherefore of you 
speak before you blow your bazoo all over the list.
