[CH] OT - halal question - separate grocery bags?

I like to occasionally hit a small Arab grocery nearby, and sometimes I get meat and cheese. On my most recent visit, I noticed that the clerk put the cheese and pitas in one bag, and the meat alone in another.

I don't know much about halal, other than it's basically like kosher but more stringent. In kosher law you cannot use the same utensil for dairy and meat (right?)

My question is, does this also extend to grocery bags as utensils? In other words, no meat and milk in the same bag?

BTW the cheese was "cream cheese" but it's nothing like typical American cream cheese, it's more like a 50/50 mix of American cream cheese and butter, nice and rich. I've tried two brands and they were pretty much the same.

BTW2 the pitas come in unmarked bags, I don't know how they get away with that but I figure they must be very local.
