I confess, I did not treat them well. I picked them more than a week ago and they sat in a basket and waited. Their skins were cracking and they were starting to soften as the tomatoes around them gradually disappeared into meals. Their deep red spoke of rage but I was foolish and blind.
I thought, I could bring them to the office and eat them in the big salads that I typically make for lunch. That was last week. So they sat in a drawer, still waiting, until today.
Now they wreak their REVENGE on me, these things are hot as hell! You never know with jalapenos...
