Well hell, if that's the case, then drinking plain Indianapolis tap water should kill any resultant chile mouth-a-fire suffering too! I believe it's about 20% chlorine bleach, at least that's the flavor of it.

However, let's do a logical study. A previous poster said that his hands smelled like socks after immersing said hands in bleach.  Well of course-- the socks (generally the organic cotton type) smell like they do because of being washed with bleach, so it goes to follow that bleach would have that effect on human skin (the organic meat type.)

I'm still trying to decide which is worse- the chile-fried skin or the used sock smell. At least it doesn't smell like your hands after handling bicycle innertubes. Close, but not quite as gross.

Missed y'all this year, but have enjoyed the stories!
