I adapted this from a Nigella Lawson recipe I found on the last page of the Food Network Magazine. I used different chile powder and a combination of nuts. Mmmm - a great way of using up little bits of chile powders that are laying around. * Exported from MasterCook * Maple Chipotle Nuts Recipe By : adapted from Nigella Lawson, TV Food Network Magazine #1 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Snacks Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 tb unsalted butter (1/2 stick) 1/2 cup maple syrup 1 1/2 ts sea salt 1 ts chipotle powder -- * see note 3 1/2 cups roasted nuts Melt the butter with the syrup, salt and chipotle in a pan over LOW heat. Add the nuts and stir to mix; leaving them on the heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat.
