Ok, question on the bhut jolokia.... I have 3 dried peppers that a lady
at a local Thai/Chinese place gave me. She said she got them from a
friend in India, and that they are supposed to be "the really hot
one---the hottest kind." Ok, that description leaves a lot to be
desired, I'll admit, but that's all she knew.

So, after reading this, I finally looked it up online (I'd basically just
decided to plant them and figure it out after they start putting out some
chillis), and unless I'm looking at the pics wrong, the bhut looks a lot
like a habanero.

The three dried peppers (no, I don't have any pics yet) look more or
less like habs, except that the color is a golden brown instead of the
more reddish/orange colors that I expect from habs. Oh, and they didn't
collapse in on themselves like all of the habs I've seen dried have done.
These held their shape relatively well.

Does anyone have any pics (already online) of dried bhuts?

Thanks,
