Does this mean you have decided your chile cannot be a Bhut jalokia?

Bhut jalokia is supposed to be red color I thought.  If so, the only way to
get an orangish/tannish dried chile from it is for it to get horribly
bleached (e.g. sun, age, chemicals, molds) after drying.
