Having just had Tony email me with about the same partculars about Jim's
visit, I was aware of that news, nice hearing from him and that he is
holding his own. We are SO very thankful that Marie is a 21 year cancer
survivor, which also of course, made the celebration of our 60th wedding
anniversary possible.
I would like to thank the very many of our old CH friends some of whom
we have known on line since about 96 - 97, for the kind wishes extended
to Marie and me on this occasion. We hold all of you in very high
regard, and we do intend to keep on knuckle draggin and chile eatin for
as long as we still are around!
As well as the CH list folks, so many other Hot Heads sent private
emails, and as I am on various other cooking lists, at one point I was
overwhelmed by the number of emails we received. Thank You all so very
much!
We managed to have three of our six offspring with us for March 4th and
we were treated royally, great dinner at a very wonderful restaurant
here in Nanaimo, www.zougla.ca where we have known the Greek gentleman
who owns it for over 25 years. Food, as always was wonderful. Our
children gave us a composite picture of our wedding day and then beside
that a very recent shot of the two of us....hardy changed a bit! HAH!!
Along with a reservation to the Empress Hotel in Victoria. Told them we
had been there and done that, but they told us to do it again!
Well, folks once again Marie and I extend our thanks for the thoughts
you all extended on this occasion. Very much appreciated and we love all
you! Stay in Heat! :-))!
