Doug - thanks for reminding us of Calvin's Powder! I used to carry a
vial of that with me whenever I traveled - I am sure doing so these days
would get me on a terrorist watch list for carrying a concealed weapon.
Linda, I would be inclined to think that if Doug has reached his age,
eating as many chiles as he has, without developing peripheral
neuropathy or anything other (apparently) than a somewhat warped sense
of humor, there probably isn't a causal link.
