Looks good.
I may postpone attempting it for a couple of weeks.
Just prior to reading your post I started some red cabbage sauerkraut
in a crock.
Should be ready by Thanksgiving for a first taste.
Should go well with venison, apples, etc.
By then I might have convinced the Scotch in me to front a few pesos for a bag
of ginger snaps. Should be okay, I have never regretted a good sauce.
