This morning I was making some seasoned pepper, and I brought up some oven-roasted puriras I've had sitting on the shelf.  These are OF pods, probably from ~2005.  When I roasted them the house smelled great, but I thought I overcooked them a little, and they lost a lot of their distinctive heat.
 
Well, not all of their heat.  After much grinding and mixing and sneezing, it has been about an hour, and I have this low, slow burn around my lips.
 
The other ingredients are salt, and homegrown rosemary and sage, and some garlic powder.  The blend has no name so maybe I'll call it Seven Sneezes.
