[CH] Where Does It Hit You?

Hey Chileheads,

When I stay away from (Hot) chiles for a time it always takes
me a while to acclimate myself again. (I tend to wander
about the culinary landscape.)
The thought that has surfaced in my less that adequate
head machinery with respect to this proclivity is that
hot peppers of various sorts and stripes hit my lips, tongue and
mouth in different places and different ways.
I mean aside from taste.
I'm talking heat.
The cool (hot) part is that these things are all mixed up in tasty
ways together.
Dried habs hit me in the back of the throat.
Fresh serranos burn my lips and heat my mouth
in a more diffused manner.
More to the front...
I get the hiccups in any case if I overload my senses.

It's great when I get it all in balance.

Kind Regards,

jOe
