Yes there is an isolated pollination

You can do 1 of several methods,

Nearest other same type species, grown 1/4th mile away.

Plant bagging with insect type floating row cover

Blossom bagging with a chunk of panty hose.

Plant only types that won't cross pollinate in your garden.

Ask some semi retired folks to grow a plant for you.

Just a few Idea's

If you have Dewitts "The Pepper Garden" it will tell you which ones will cross pollinate. If not, let me know and give me a few days to a month, I have a chart somewhere in the old 'puter

Okay guys, probably a dumb question, but I know we've all heard open
pollination and grown in isolation as terms to describe the
pollination of our wonderful little pepper producing friends, but is
there an actual term for the isolated pollination? I know some people
do hand pollination which I personally have had good luck with, and
some people use bees or other critters to assist. Just kind of
wondering if it would be correct and not just a little funny to say my
peppers are bred in captivity? Lol
