Hey Chileheads,


Has anyone on the list been experimenting with LED
growing lights?
I built a six light unit using a three red and three blue
LED assembly that seems to be fairly useful, draws about
17 watts.
The sprouts I've started using it seem to have done well.
The only draw back is that I had to add a few power
resistors to knock down the current along with having to use
a 12 volt power supply.
I just finished building a six light, white light unit that uses 120 AC
thus eliminating the need for drop-down resistors and power supply.
Runs at about 16 watts.
Hmmmmm.....
Time for a test run....
