I have both a Salon and a Braun What I found is that you have to do a lot of chopping to use the Braun for a find powder. Tossing the pods in a Salon, first breaks it down to a very coarse "chunk" type flakes, then process in the Braun for a fine powder that will go thru a pepper shaker . Byron
