Mystery Chile
Free, no trade required, to anyone who will make an honest attempt
to identify this chile.
I still have this unidentified chile. I hope someone on this list
will be able to grow it out and identify it. It looks like Cascabella
except the immature fruit is dark green, like a Jalapeno or Serrano,
instead of light green. It is a small, ornamental bush with ball-l
Great flavor, great

the seeds more in a placenta pulp, like C. frutescens. Fruits are
1 1/4" long by 1/4" wide conical shaped and ripen quickly from dark
green to red.
