I don't know if they are new at all, but to me they are. At Whole Foods today I found Roland's Pepper sauce Piri-Piri with Garlic. Looks good. It is not made from the actual Piri Piri chile as far as I can tell. It just says chile peppers in the ingredients. Wonder what kind it is. Also, a friend who came in from Australia gave us a bottle of Nando's Hot Peri Peri Sauce. Nandos is a line of restaurants that use the African Bird Chile in their food. That is what they consider the Piri Piri chile, I guess. Mark just posted an article on Facebook about Nandos and the Peri Peri (coincidentally). Anyway, both sauces look good. The Nandos sauce has both serranos and African Bird Chiles. Can't wait to try them both. Reviews when I do. RisaG
